The Los Angeles Lakers officially retired Magic Johnson’s iconic #32 jersey at halftime of the Celtics-Lakers game at the Great Western Forum. 
Larry Bird, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Cooper, Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Wilt Chamberlain, Norm Nixon, Kurt Rambis, A.C. Green and James Worthy were all in attendance.

Johnson became the 5th Lakers player to have his jersey retired, joining Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
