God, the Vietnam conversation really gets on my nerves. If you want to appear smart, Condescending Lady, at least try to do some research first, and not only on Geography. Chinese (or Chinese-like) decorations, objects and styles were very fashionable during the 17th century, so it makes sense that a house maid would be familiar with them.
It really highlights the difference between being ignorant and being stupid: the first can be resolved by learning, the latter has no cure.
Also: Meta-humor FTW!
I didn't scroll too far back, but it's nice to see so many positive comments, rather than pathetic racist attempts at humor that are just sad. I'm sure there's some in there somewhere, though…

Hmmm. Now, that brings up a curious point.
I'd always assumed Lizzie Mae was generally a composite character. But, Azie Dungey's portrayal could be her interpretation of a real slave Lizzie Mae at Mt. Vernon.
Still, I know things like that are not the point of these videos; they are about the questions and comments patrons asked her.
