June 14, 2012: Yvette Wilson died from cervical cancer, she was 48 years old. Wilson battled cervical cancer as well as kidney disease, and needed a kidney transplant.

Friend Jeffrey Pittle created a website for people to donate money to help with her medical bills and transportation costs. The website only raised 56 percent of the $25,000 needed.

Yvette Renee Wilson was a comedian and actress. She was best known for her role as Andell Wilkerson on the UPN sitcom, Moesha, and its spinoff, The Parkers. She has appeared on many comedic films, such as House Party 2, House Party 3, Friday, and on Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam.
