Born on January 29, 1954, in the rural side of Kosciusko, Mississippi, Oprah Winfrey is a media giant who is well-known for her amazing hosting talent on the television. Winfrey had a troublesome childhood in the small farming community where she was sexually molested by many of her male relatives and close friends of her mother. After such a physical and mental trauma, Winfrey moved to Nashville to stay with her father, who was a businessman and a barber. In 1976, Oprah Winfrey began her professional career and moved to Baltimore, Maryland. She started with hosting a TV talk show “People Are Talking”. Later on, she gained the rights of the program from ABC and drew it under her own production company.
