In a video posted on The Black History School, we learn more about Roosevelt was one of the most famous presidents in American history. At the age 42, he was the youngest person to become president. He once held a boxing match in the White House and was hit so hard during the fight that he was left blind in one eye. Roosevelt led the development of the Panama Canal; he turned the U.S. Navy into the most powerful military force in the world; and he won a Nobel Peace Prize. But one of his most famous acts was inviting Black educator, Booker T. Washington, to dinner at the White House. Despite the bad publicity, he continued meeting with Washington who would later become a regular advisor to many presidents.

“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are”. Theodore Roosevelt

Instead, this platform is structured to give millions of black men, women and children around the world access to the truth from which we came.
