At Black Then, we frequently see interesting photos that give us a glimpse into the past. They tend to show us a piece of black history that is often not covered in textbooks, in history classes, or shown in the media.
In a photo that we found on Black History Album , we see this great image called “Saidie-Sellyna | 1911” . The picture shows Publicity photo of African American dancer/vaudeville performer Saidie Sellyna (Thompson), circa 1911. Black and white photographic print, 5.375 x 3.5 in.

Whomever is maintaining/reviewing this “Blackthen” is not doing a very good job. This particular item is about a rare, old photo. But, there IS NO PHOTO!! WTF???
