Waiting To Exhale

The defining moment of this movie came very early, when Bernadine (Angela Bassett) tore through her husband’s clothes and lit them – and his car – on fire, and topped it off by lighting a cigarette from the inferno. Every woman could identify with each of these characters, whose stories were raw, real and relatable.
