Thomas Sankara, president of Burkina Faso, was a true revolutionary that fought to bring his country, which was extremely poor, to a place of self sufficiency. He understood tactics used by colonizing countries to keep Burkina Faso oppressed and a part of working class for EUROPEAN benefit…..instead of the benefit of his people. So he made changes…….changes that we can afford to follow in our communities.
